Original propaganda poster for the German SPD (German Social Democratic party) politician Fritz Erler for the 1965 elections. Erler was originally member of the Socialist Workers Youth until 1931 when he joined the SPD. He was jailed by the Nazis in 1938. In 1964 he was elected vice chairman of the SPD, at the same time Willy Brandt was elected chairman.
