Special number published in 1947 of the iconic Argentine literary magazine created by Victoria Ocampo, which was published from 1931 until 1992. Many celebrated personalities from different artistic and literary fields collaborated with Sur, such as Jorge Luis Borges, Adolfo Bioy Casares, Walter Gropius, Federico García Lorca, José Ortega y Gasset, Gabriel García Márquez and Pablo Neruda. In this quadruple issue (153, 154, 155 and 156) is an homage to British literature and includes contributions by Bernard Shaw, T.S. Eliot, Chesterton, Aldous Huxley, George Orwell, Christopher Isherwood, Evelyn Waugh, E. M. Forster among others, as well as an introduction by Victoria Ocampo.
