Book with images of designs produced by the young members of the Memphis group formed in 1980 by the Italian architect and designer Ettore Sottsass and whose first members included Barbara Radice, Michele de Lucchi, Marzo Zanini, Aldo Cibic, Matteo Thun and Martine Bedin, to whom others such as Hans Hollein, George Sowden, Shiro Kuramata, Peter Shire, Masanori Umeda, Terri Jones, Michael Graves, Andrea Branzi and the Spanish Javier Mariscal were added. The designs of this group were characterized by eclectic and vibrant designs, inspired by pop and op art and kitsch. They sought to oppose and contradict what was considered good design.
