Contains reports prepared by the artists themselves on the “Artists’ sessions at Studio 35” held in New York and a transcript of “The western round table on modern art” held in San Francisco. It also includes a section with a detailed list of the most significant exhibitions of painting and sculpture that took place in and around New York between 1949 and 1950, accompanied by black and white photographs by Aaron Siskind.
